Post Event Snow Cover via MODIS over New Mexico

Some of the season’s first winter storm warnings from the NWS Albuquerque WFO were issued for the cutoff low event of December 2.  A pre- and post-event look at the snow cover is shown below via the MODIS Snow-Cloud RGB imagery.
